Register My Athlete

The Clark County School District has transitioned from paper athletic packets to an online version called "Register My Athlete" or RMA. This new online version will help schools monitor student athletes, help with transfers of eligibility (TEFs), maintain medical information and other important items.

Following successful completion of the RMA process, student athletes will receive a "Participation Verification" card that will be provided to the coach. NOTE! Students athletes CANNOT tryout for a sport until they have received their "Participation Verification" card.

Parents are reminded that Register My Athlete is a 10-15 minute process and needs to be completed from a desktop or laptop computer. Use the following links to help complete the process for your student athlete.

Eligibility Requirements

In addition to the Register My Athlete process, to be eligible to participate in athletics, cheer leading, song team, drill team or as a team mascot it will be necessary for a student to meet a number of scholastic qualifications. To view these qualifications in detail, please CLICK HERE.

Students who have transferred to Las Vegas High School from another state, transferred from another CCSD school or who are attending LVHS on a zone variance are not eligible to participate in athletics until cleared through the Athletics Office. All potential athletes who are in this situation should contact the Athletic Director's office (799-0180 x4206) as soon as possible.

Las Vegas High School is a Title IX compliant school and the on-site Title IX athletics coordinator is Mr. Ryan Guzman. • NIAA – The official website of the Nevada Interscholastic Athletics Association. Contains rules, schedules and other information pertinent to high school athletics in the state of Nevada.
• NevadaPreps – The portion of the website of the Las Vegas Review-Journal that focuses on high school sports. Contains written articles, videos, game results and standings.
• MaxPreps – Used by coaches to self-publish schedules, rosters, results and other team information. Widely used across the country and considered a leading source of information.
• NCAA Eligibility Center – This resource is provided by the NCAA to student-athletes that plan on playing at the collegiate level. It includes a wide array of information, checklists and guidelines that students should use to make sure that they have everything in place to be eligible to participate in collegiate athletics.
